Japanese Knotweed (Polygonum cuspidatum) Tincture
This Japanese Knotweed root was wild harvested in the Salmon River Range of the Rocky Mountains in an area known to be free of pesticides and herbicides. It has been tinctured in small batches in food grade alcohol with time tested methods for producing a superior quality product.
Lyme: Japanese Knotweed has a long list of medicinal uses especially as a broad-spectrum antibacterial and has been found effective against spirochetes including Borrelia burdorferi(Lyme). It's effectiveness with Lyme disease and its coinfections is attributed to the stimulation of capillaries that increases the blood flow to areas where the Lyme Spirochete likes to live such as the eyes, skin, heart and joints. This then helps to carry the medicinal constituents of any treatments to those places. This makes it a great addition to any Lyme treatment.
Antioxidant: Japanese Knotweed has a high concentration of Resveratrol, an antioxidant that has been found to absorb free radicals, thus supporting heart health and providing anti-aging benefits. Resveratrol has also been linked to killing cancer cells naturally while leaving healthy cell unharmed. (Chin-Yuan Hsu et al., 2007)
